Your Association was founded in Port Elizabeth in 1898 when a group of like minded Building Contractors with a common purpose got together to form the association. The main objective at the time was to recruit Skilled Labour from abroad.

So what's changed?

The MBA has developed and evolved over the years to the point where we have become an all includive association which provides a wide range of benefits and services to memebrs and the industry at large.

We need your support to indentify and encourage eligible Building Contractors and Specialist Subcontractors in the various fields to join the association and strengthen its ranks. 

Builder's Merchants, Building Material Manufactures & Supplier, Consultants, are also eligible for members in fact, any company that provides goods or services to the Building Industry is eligible.

To propose a fellow contractor for membership, simply download & complete the Proposal Form on the right and send it to us and we will do the rest.
