The MBA was founded in Port Elizabeth in 1898 when a group of like minded Port Elizabeth Building Contractors with a common purpose got together to form the association.
The MBA has developed, grown and evolved over the years to the point where it has become an all inclusive association which provides a range of benefits and services to it's contractor, subcontractor, supplier and manufacturing members.
The Association also has a number of Industry Consultant members from the various professions as any company that provides goods and/or services to the Building Industry is eligible for membership.
